Meet Leslie Davis and Lyndsay Lamb. They’re twins who have “done life together since Day 1.” They’re real estate agents from the Pacific Northwest. And they’re the hosts of HGTV’s Unsellable Houses, where they just completed their 5th season of helping desperate homeowners convert their lifeless homes into striking - and sellable - spaces.

Leslie and Lyndsay will take center stage (literally - they’ll be presenting on the Main Stage of the Cow Palace) during the second weekend of the Maryland Home & Garden + Craft Show at the Maryland State Fairgrounds, Friday and Saturday, March 7 and 8.

Before they come to Baltimore to share their best tips for home renovations and decorating, we asked Leslie and Lyndsay a few questions:

What project are you currently working on?

Lyndsay is designing a new kitchen for her own home.  

What’s the best home purchase for under $100?

A rescue dog. They make a house a home. 

What’s a tried-and-true tip for incorporating a new design trend into your home?

Trends come and go so have fun with it. It's okay if it is only around for a short period.  Most trends are. 

What’s your home style?

Lyndsay: My home style is a complete reflection of my personality—a mixture of classic furnishings and earthy undertones that together create a warm, comfortable, and timeless vibe.

Leslie : My home style is industrial comfort. To be honest, I point at things I like, and Lyndsay makes it work in my space.

I love the cool, clean lines that incorporating metals brings, but I keep it feeling warm and cozy with soft textures and pops of color. Or, at least Lyndsay tells me, I do.

What is one project you tell people not to do as DIY?

Anything that requires a permit, like electrical or plumbing. Don't take on more than you can handle. 

What’s your favorite paint color?

We could never pick a favorite but do really like Spare White. 

Are you plant fanatics or are you lacking green thumbs? 

We’re huge plant fanatics!  We have filled our houses with them and now have filled our office spaces as well. 

What is your favorite type of music to listen to when you’re working?

We have a mix of 80's, 90's, 2000's and country.  Anything to keep us moving. 

What do you enjoy most about being at a home show, like the Maryland Home & Garden + Craft Show?

We love seeing anything new that we haven't seen before and meeting and visiting with everyone.
